Made for fun during Christmas 2018. Aim Lock (with mouse button 5 within a 9 ° angle / funnel, enemy priority determined by distance and visibility. Simple 3D radar/ESP. Reduced recoil. Overlay (transparent auto-placed window (Dual middle layer GDI), no writing or interference of internal game mechanics, performance or graphics).
Relevant to game development in general. To achieve the angle funnel I wanted at 9° after some testing and playing, I had to first read up again on trigonometry. Especially directional vectors, normalization and dot products. This was important to what I wanted to achieve, and led to what actually took most of the total time - paper theory to first learn a few new things - and, not least, provide one thorough and complete understanding before I could translate it into creative code and a technical solution.
Using various forums, I got enough information to track down the latest memory pointers for critical things needed to create this "aim bot". Games based on valve engines are slightly easier than other games, as they provide much debug info via the console and are well documented.
